Act Number Description

Act 918

An act concerning the retention of public records by state agencies; establishes the minimum retention periods for records commonly found within Arkansas state agencies.

Act 970

An act to establish a deadline for the disposal of computer and electronics waste in landfills; to define the terms "consumer electronic item,""degauss," and "fugitive amounts of consumer electronic items"; to provide for the preferential sale of state-agency-owned computers to local governments; to authorize the donation of unsold surplus state-agency-owned computers to local governments; to remove limitations on the sale and pricing of used state-agency-owned computers and electronics.

Act 1422

An act to amend Arkansas law to authorize criminal background checks for employment or licensure, as required by Arkansas law, by qualified third-party vendors, including, but not limited to, background checks for long-term care facilities, home health services, individuals or entities working for the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and employees of public school systems.
