The 5th Annual Arkansas Digital Government Summit hosted by the Arkansas Department of Information Systems (DIS) in partnership with Government Technology magazine is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at the Little Rock Marriott.

“Arkansas is entering a period of transition in which government and private business leaders are looking toward information technology to develop cost-effective, innovative solutions to fortify and optimize operational efficiencies across state government. The 5th Annual Arkansas Digital Government Summit is the premier opportunity for IT professionals, executives, business and industry leaders, and policy makers to network, share information, and work toward building strategic partnerships that will keep Arkansas moving forward in creating public services on the cutting edge. I invite you to join us at this exciting event that offers informative speakers and educational sessions that will enhance your professional development.”

Former CIA Senior Analyst, Cynthia Storer, is scheduled to deliver the morning keynote address. Storer’s pioneering work helped lay the foundation for the efforts of other CIA analysts and targeting officers who eventually found Osama Bin Laden’s hideout, as depicted in the movie Zero Dark Thirty.

The Digital Government Summit is for and about state and local government. Its purpose is to foster discussion and dialogue on the use of information technology as a strategic tool for managers, executives and policy makers. Other event topics include:
