• There was not an enforcing agency named in Arkansas code. It will be "policed" by individuals, who can sue for compliance. 

From where did this legislation originate?

• It was written by the National Federation for the Blind and sponsored by Rep. Shane Broadway in the 1999 session. Several other states also have this legislation, or a variant of it.
