Customer Equipment Hosting – BAND 1

What is the service?

The Dedicated Server Hosting Band 1 service is for customers who want a comprehensive hosting solution. The service consists of a dedicated dual processor server, with dual hard drives (Dual 73GB Minimum) configured in a hardware based RAID-1 array, with minimum 2GB of RAM. Actual server specifications may vary based on hardware availability at time of service setup. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition is included for the Operating System, Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 "Client" license is included for systems monitoring, as well as DIS approved Anti-Virus software. The system will be housed in the DIS Data Center. All environmental aspects, including air conditioning, electrical, and rack space are part of the service. Also included is one 100Mb network connection, and a firewall is configured at customer request. Regular security vulnerability scans will be performed.

• One 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet connection
• Environmental aspects, such as heat, air, electrical, and rack space
• Subnet of IP Addresses
• Basic firewall Services
• Hardware support
• New server provided after 48 months in use, but before 54 months of use

How do we charge?

The cost for this service is $750 for the initial setup, and $275 a month thereafter.
