What is the Service?
A list server (mailing list server) is a program that manages subscription requests for a mailing list and distributes new messages, newsletters, or other postings from the list's members to the entire list of subscribers as they occur or are scheduled. A list server should not be confused with a mail server, which handles incoming and outgoing e-mail for Internet users.
What is included?
D I S Mailing List Service provides customers with an easy-to-use web-based interface that allows the administration of an online list of e-mail groups. This makes information sharing nearly effortless. Customers can take advantage of an automated e-mail distribution group by subscribing to a distribution list environment.
What should the customer expect?
This service is available to customers 24 x 7, excluding planned outages, maintenance windows, and unavoidable events. Maintenance windows are used only when needed for scheduled changes that have been implemented through the D I S Change Management Process.

Customer Responsibilities
