D I S Security also assists in setting up virtual private networks for authorized individuals seeking secure remote access to state computing resources and information. The costs of many D I S security features are included in other D I S services.

Customer Responsibilities

Due to the fact that all state computers on the state network negatively impact each other when infected with viruses and spyware, customers are expected to disconnect infected machines when notified by DIS security personnel that they have an infected computer in a timely manner. Before reattaching the infected computers to the state network, they should be cleaned.

Lead Time

Lead times vary and depend upon the details of the service needed.
